Why split a PDF?
A large PDF often has more pages than you actually need to share — one chapter out of a book, a single invoice out of a batch, or just the signature page out of a contract. Splitting lets you pull exactly the pages you need without sending the whole document.
This tool splits your PDF entirely inside your browser using the open-source pdf-lib library. Extract a specific page range into one new PDF, or break every page out into its own file — either way, your document is never uploaded to a server.
How to split a PDF
- Drop your PDF into the box, or click it to browse your files.
- Choose "Extract specific pages" and type a range (e.g.
1-3, 5), or choose "Split every page." - Click "Split PDF," then download your result(s).
